Realync is seeking a Controller to join our growing organization. This is a leadership role focused on leading and managing Realync’s accounting team and functions. With over 400% growth in 2020, Realync is a fast growing B2B SaaS company with a defined market, proven opportunity, and a track record of success. We’re looking for a motivated, self-starter with B2B SaaS finance and accounting leadership experience who is up for a new challenge and looking to have a lot of fun along the way!


Responsibilities

  • Oversees accounting department, ensuring financial statements are produced in a timely and accurate manner
  • Advises leadership team and board of directors on company financials
  • Maximizes efficiency and mitigates risk by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, & reporting systems
  • Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Collaborates with external partners (Audit, Tax, Bank, etc.) and leads annual audit/tax planning
  • Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data
  • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Collaborates with finance team and company leadership to prepare the annual budget and forecasts
  • Complies with GAAP and legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions
  • Runs bi-monthly payroll and fields employee payroll inquiries
  • Screen, hire, train, and retain accounting department employees as the teams grows


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years in finance and accounting for a SaaS company
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA or public accounting experience
  • Experience with finance / accounting technology and the ability to evaluate and implement new systems to support Realync’s growth. Current systems include: Quickbooks Online, Expensify, Bill.com, Salesforce, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively and nurture relationships with cross-functional business partners
  • Experience working cross-functionally to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Metrics driven and quantitative with the ability to draw insight from complex data
